Future Deleted Experiment of the Present # 3
“Gavoltikon, the endling”
nights of books and paper
mirrors holding sin
one thousand voices taper
loudest match my pen
shiver still the wounded rages
cracks of truth in porous skin
you knowing blazes all the pages
the vapor of my kin
reckonings for those who taste buttered eggs and scrambled toast
pipes filled with vitamins and shadows of a species always feared the most
all I hear is the sound in your eyes
last of my kind but your first ghost

Thanks, Kat! Appreciate your feedback. Ur not missin much with # 2 but it’s in my post list…for now.
Hey Kyle, I’ve really been digging these writing experiments.
I’ve always appreciated your sense of humor in your film review writing, but I also find that you are multifaceted with great rhyming ability and strong vocabulary game, too.
My favorite clever rhyming you’ve done so far is where you end rhymed ‘Sin’ and ‘Pen’ on here and also how in your recent review of 976-Evil 2 the astral factor, you opened a new paragraph with “Venerating and Visually Victorian…”
It’s just brilliant use of alliteration.
A really big thumbs up!
